PRIVACY-FIRST RECOVERY · CZECH PILOT CONCEPT

Never lose
what matters.

A little sticker can give your belongings a way home. Captur is developing NFC + QR recovery labels that let finders reach owners without revealing personal contact details.

SMALL ACTION. MEANINGFUL RETURN.

Three steps.
A clearer way home.

The proposed pilot keeps recovery simple for the person who finds an item, and private for the person who owns it.

01

Stick

Attach an NFC + QR label and register the item through a web page. Use a case or tag for small, delicate or metal objects.

02

Tap or scan

A finder taps with a compatible NFC phone or scans the QR code. A browser opens. No Captur app is needed.

03

Recover

Our planned private messaging flow helps finder and owner arrange a safe return, with guidance on the applicable finder’s reward.

Finding an item on public transport? Follow the operator’s hand-in process. Captur is designed to support existing lost-and-found duties.

FOR THE THINGS YOU CARRY

A place on your everyday.

From your commute to your next trip, a recovery label can travel with the things that matter.

Wallets

The one with everything in it.

Phones

A way home, even when it is off.

Keys

On a tag, away from your address.

Glasses

A discreet label on the case.

Jewellery

On the case or storage pouch.

Bags

Everyday essentials, connected.

Luggage

For the journey and the way back.

Bicycles

A recovery label for your frame.

Placement and surface compatibility will be tested during the pilot. Labels help identify found items; they do not locate missing items remotely.

THE CAPTUR APPROACH

More peace of mind.
Less to give away.

Recovery should be easy to start and careful with people’s information. These are the principles guiding our pilot design.

Privacy first
By design, from the start.

No sticker battery

Passive NFC + QR labels need no charging.

Anonymous to each other

The planned message relay hides personal phone numbers and email addresses. Captur still needs limited data to operate it.

No app for finders

A compatible phone and browser are enough.

Reward guidance built in

Czech law generally provides a 10% finder’s reward. Eligibility, duties and exceptions apply. Captur does not guarantee payment.

Designed around GDPR

Data minimisation, limited access and EU storage are requirements for the planned pilot. Compliance will be assessed before it processes real owner data.

BETTER TOGETHER

Build recovery into
the services people trust.

We’re seeking a small number of Czech partners to test how a simple label fits into the services people already use.

FOR BUSINESSES

A useful welcome kit.
A measurable pilot.

For insurers, transport operators and retailers: test whether tagged items reach their owners faster and whether eligible claims or support work can be reduced.

ABOUT CAPTUR

Starting small.
Learning in the real world.

Captur is an early-stage lost-and-found project focused on the Czech Republic. We’re validating a practical, privacy-first way to help found belongings reach their owners.

Our first step is a partner pilot with a clear scope and measurable outcomes. Stickers, messaging, integrations and authority access will be developed and assessed together with pilot partners.
